In the summer months, Jasná is popular for its hiking trails and magnificent views from the peak of Chopok, which rises to a height of 2,024 meters. Cable cars are also in operation in summer, which allows convenient access to hiking trails. The surrounding area is full of hiking trails of varying difficulty, so also families with children can enjoy the beautiful views.

Demänovská Valley offers many natural beauties, including caves – Demänovská Cave of Freedom and Demänovská Ice Cave, which are among the most beautiful in Slovakia. Vrbické pleso, the largest natural lake in the Low Tatras, is an ideal place for relaxation and walks.

In winter, Jasná turns into the largest ski resort in Slovakia with more than 50 km of slopes of various levels of difficulty. Modern cable cars and lifts provide comfortable access to the slopes for families with children, beginners and advanced skiers. Jasná also offers night skiing, a snow park and many winter attractions.
